Orsolya Kecskés
jewelry designer
Orsolya Kecskés' jewellery is made of defined contours and repeating shapes. The designer's attention is drawn to her objects by examining the relationship between the part and the whole leading to the final formal solutions. In addition to jewellery design, she enjoys and often collaborates with artists working in other fields. As the creator of EightDays Design, for example, she worked on the redefinition of utilitarian objects related to Judaism. She was a founding member and organizer of Budapest Jewellery Week for three years. Alongside her design work, she also has many years of teaching experience. As a member of Foncière Budapest, she has now returned to creating objects as well as jewellery.
