Uzsaly Márton

painter

Márton Uzsaly's painting focuses on man and his environment. Movement, gesture, and posture are important to him, and he uses them to express his state of mind. In his images, the environment of the depicted figure provides the context of the given action, and through it represents the own and specific world in which the given gesture takes place and can be interpreted. Márton graduated from the University of Pécs in 2013. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Hungarian State Opera House painting studio. In 2022, he was commissioned to create a cycle of paintings for the Nouvole Garden Hotel ComoBrunate, designed by Zoltán Varró. It was then that he created the L'Acqua Della Vita, a cycle of paintings, whose vast canvases feature bathers and bathing nudes.

“The boundary between nature and the architectural environment is the space that for me is the greatest inspiration, the meeting of worlds, and the experience of going beyond borders.”
